Does anyone have a good phone number for Dean Mullinax? I tried the one listed in our last roster issue, but it no longer works. And I did a web search, got a number, and it no longer works. If you do have a good phone number for Dean, please send it to me at; thanks. I've been trying to get hold of him since the convention; if I don't get hold of him soon, I'm not going to give to him his Special Achievement Award plaque that he won!! LOL.

Also, we're trying to find Steve Thursby too. He use to be a member; as far as that goes, he use to be a trustee. He use to be in GA, but then his job transfered him out west. But we've heard that he's back in GA. Anyway, we're trying to find him because of the clear plastic domes that are about 3' in diameter that go on the Hernando De Soto medallions that were used in the showrooms back in the early 1950's. It's our understanding that either Steve knows how to make these domes, or knows someone who does. So if you know where Steve is, please let me know; thanks.

I talked to Steve perhaps a year ago regarding the domes for the DeSoto bust. At one time he was toying with the project; however, there was not much interest so he did not proceed with it

Who were the award winners this year?
