That sounds awesome! Share pictures when you can.

Where in PA are you? I used to live south of York, and grew up about an hour north of Philly.

I was in Glen Rock, and worked for Al Prueitt & Sons.

Tim, I knew you were from PA...typical helpful and knowledgeable car guy (nut?).
Yes, you guessed it, I'm from PA; up the AlleghenyRiver from Pittsburgh.
Home of the Steelers...I bet you've heard of em.
I always look forward to your posts re: the 56 DeSoto restoration.
Thanks for sharing.

Look for '57-'59 Dodge, DeSoto, and Chrysler 2 door hardtop and convertible for doors.

I didn't know a dual quad 383 was available in a Firesweep.

Have a nice day

To clarify, the book says all 57-59 DeSoto, Dodge, and Chrysler 2 door hardtop and convertible doors interchange on all '59 DeSoto convertibles.

Good Luck

Hey, Craig.

According to a sales brochure I have, the "Fabulous Adventurer Engine" was an option for the Firesweep, Firedome and Fireflite. If this car was originally equiped with this option, it should have an "Adventurer Powered" logo somewhere on the body. Good luck in restoring a rare car!
