I'm hoping some one can help me with decoding the body trim tag on my 48 s11. I don't have any books to help me with a car this old. Thanks for the help.

You might contact the club librarian and see what help the library can provide. His contact info should be listed in the resources tab.

Hola Dan

What do you have that you see and what do you think that is missing ?

Every 1946 to 1948 1/2 S-11 was almost the same. The most sold was The
De Lux four Door Sedan and then a Custom four Door Sedan.

The most sold tyre was always The Black Wall ( even on Imperials ).

The "short list" of Options

In 1947 The "lit Up Hood Ornament" option went away. Even so after-wards, this
became a sought after item.

The Short Antenna with The five button Model 600/ 602 Radio was the most
Sold. The Antenna is mounted on the American Driver's left ( even with
New Yorkers ).

The base transmission was a Manual Three Speed. Option number one was a
Manual Three Speed - with Over Drive. Option number two was The M-6/ Tip
Toe ( AKA The Fluid Drive ).

Hi, I'm very lucky in that my car is about 99.9% complete. Anything that is missing is on the motor. I'm just looking for a breakdown of what all the numbers mean. Thanks
