 Post subject: 1933 wheels and tires.

Have a ?? Am trying to replace the wheels on our 33 Desoto and am wondering if it is a 5 x 4 1/2 inch pattern or did they use a 5 x 4 3/4. Came with 16 inch wood wheels. Thanks for any help.

Don't know about the wood wheels, but a question for you- The wheels you have in the photo look just like the ones I have on my 32 SC. My digging suggested they were from a 34-36 Dodge, or perhaps an option added at the dealer. But I never nailed it down. Mine were painted at the rim, with chrome hub section. Do you know what those wheels came from, what year?
