I wasn't sure where to post this so here it is. I recently finished a resto-mod project 1953 Desoto Firedome Eight 4 door sedan six passenger. I have some parts that are no longer needed. I would prefer to give them to someone who can make use of them rather than scrap them. I know there is a limited market but I am hopeful someone can make use of them or pass them on to someone who can. I am located in central Ohio zip code 43830. I do not want to be boxing and shipping parts. It would be best if someone came here and took it all. A partial list of what is available: fluid torque drive, clutch, and transmission, intake manifold and carb, rear brake drums and loaded backing plates, misc stainless trim, front engine cover, water pump, generator with power steering pump, radiator, misc engine parts. I cannot confirm the quality of all of these parts. I expect most assemblies such as the transmission, carb and generator to be rebuildable. They appeared to be functional before the car was taken apart a year ago. Please pass this information on if you know of anyone interested or inform me of other options for passing these parts on to someone who can make use of them

Gary,
Thanks so much for NOT scrapping the parts! Let the word get around. I am sure there will be takers on some, if not all, of what you have. Good luck and I hope it all goes quickly for you!
