Here is the latest on my '42s:

1. I bought DD completely restored; she is a beauty (photo attached)

2. I have had Sherman (a '42 Deluxe 2-dr sedan) about a month ago. Her drive train is good, but she needs a decent pain job (which will be her factory blue) and a new interior (I plan to stick to the original patterns--door panels, etc.) Photo attached.

3. Restoration of DD2 is underway. Once again, keeping the interior original, but modifying the drive train--her 236ci engine is being rebuilt, but with 3 carburetors, a split exhaust, a mild cam, and slightly higher compression. She is also getting a 200R4 transmission. Photo attached----oops, I can't figure out how to attach a 3rd photo

4. Un-named 1942 four door: we are converting my 1946 4-dr DeSoto parts car to a 1942. Everything will be '42 except the drive train. Engine will be a late model LT1 GM. (No photo)
