All,

We'd like to have some small toy De Sotos (Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc. size) to put on top of the birthday cakes we plan to have at the social for our 2018 convention. Fred Roman placed the following in the "Cars for Sale/Wanted" section of our message board - I have a feeling that more people will see it if it's posted here in the Discussion section.

If you can help us out, please let Fred know; thanks.

Bill

Dear Members:

With the 2018 NDC National Convention approaching, I am looking for small model DeSoto cars to display either on or next to the the four 90th Anniversary Birthday Cakes we will have at our awards banquet.

If you have an early 1930ish and/or a 1940ish model car about the size of a Hot Wheel that would resemble a 1929 DeSoto and a 1940's DeSoto, and can loan it, sell it, give it, or in any way shape or form, allow it to be used for a cake decoration, please let me know. I can get '59s, '55/56s, and '61 models various sizes to use but really need a 1930's type and a 1940's type that I cannot find.

Please advise.

Sincere thanks,

Fred Roman, Chairman
National DeSoto Club 2018 Convention
