Rick is the club secretary for the Great Lakes Regional. While he keeps threatening to retire, the last I checked he was still working at a local Chrysler dealer in Ann Arbor. He is quite a booster of the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area, and set up our summer meeting at the Rolling Sculpture show in downtown Ann Arbor.

Here is a right front quarter shot of his 1961 DeSoto 2-door hardtop.

Here is a rear quarter view of Rick's 1961. You have to love this car no matter what you think of Virgil Exner's styling.

During the Rolling sculpture show, I was able to corner Rick and get him to open the hood on his 1961. Here is a photo of the 361 CID Chrysler B-Block 2 BBL that powered all 1961 DeSotos. Rick has avoided putting dual exhaust or low restriction mufflers on his car. It sounds like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
