Dave Duricy has written another great article about De Sotos. This one is about the 1937 - 1938 models and is in the latest edition of Collectible Automobile. In addition to the text, there are several fine photos of NDC members cars - Ron Yori's 37 Touring Sedan, John Librenjak's 37 business coupe, George Lucas' 38 rumble-seat coupe (of which only 38 were made!), and Theodore Risch's 38 business coupe. Also shown are Bruce Kennedy's 37 convertible sedan (I think he use to be a member) and Nicola Bulgari's 38 convertible sedan. Included is a short story about the WPC building and how they use to put on some of the car shows inside. And of the list of clubs, he gave the NDC top billing - thanks Dave. So if you don't get this magazine, you may want to go out and get a copy of this issue just for Dave's article.

If I had just gotten my July issue of Cars & parts a little bit earlier, I could have included this info in with my earlier post. Dave has also written a nice one-page article about the beginnings of the De Soto automobile. You'll find it on page 30 of this issue.
