Does anyone out there know of a vendor who supplies sculptured carpeting for an 1931 DeSoto 4 Dr. Sedan. I can get carpeting through Ledgendary Auto Interiors, however I would like to have it already cut for installation if possible.

My advice would be to find an upholsterer that can custom cut and bind the edges to be able to make an exact fit to your floorboard.

Too often pre-cut carpets have annoying gaps/voids due to discrepancies in the car manufacturing process.

Jerry---If you want an authentic upholstery restoration, the carpeting would be wool. LeBaron Bonney and Bill Hirsch are suppliers I buy correct early carpeting from. I would expect the carpeting to be a short pile. These vendors can send you samples of their materials. These comments based on the assumption you are doing a period correct restoration.
The front floor would have been covered with a rubber mat of probably the same pattern as your runningboard rubber.
