My car has been in storage for several years so I removed the gas tank and had it cleaned and sealed by a radiator shop. It had globs of syrupy gas in it. I also cleaned the carb. I have some questions about the installation. What color should the tank be? Should there be webbing between the straps and the tank or just metal to metal? What is the best way to flush the fuel line?
